banners_NonCinch_smootheesAfter hotdogs, chips, sodas, ice cream and all manner of unhealthy eating, it’s nice to give your body what it really needs.  Here are a few of our smoothie recipes along with some “tips” to make your smoothie experience a success.

Strawberry Banana 
3 frozen strawberries
1/4 Banana
A few ice cubes
2 scoops Shaklee 180 Energizing Smoothee Strawberry 
1 cup non-fat milk (or low-fat soy milk)
TIP:  For a healthy green smoothie (green is always good), omit the banana and add a handful of baby spinach…great with the strawberry flavor.

Peaches and Cream
1 cup unsweetened frozen peach slices
generous sprinkle cinnamon
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
2 scoops Shaklee 180 Energizing Smoothee Vanilla
TIP:  Use fresh or frozen peaches.  Frozen fruit will make your smoothies icier.

Blueberry Delight
Scoop of frozen blueberries
1 cup skimmed or 1% milk
2 scoops Shaklee 180 Energizing Smoothee Vanilla
A few ice cubes
TIP:  For variation, add 1/4 banana.  The riper the fruit the sweeter the smoothie.  Store ripened strawberries or bananas in the freezer.
