The bay area, the hilly streets and weather make San Francisco a wonderful destination. Thank you to Shaklee and the army who planned our stay. Then we branched out and walked and walked and walked. One day, Kathy logged 15,237 steps. And, of course, we loved the laughter we shared with Tara and Keith and Derek and Ariana and Ashley and Jake and Michele and Steve and Rod and Danette and Steve and Lesley and Jodi and Molly and Erica and Corina and Mika and Efrat and Joan and Rhiannon, et al.
Quack! Cheers! Here’s to water! Here’s to Shaklee and good health! Here’s to all of us inspiring and helping people live healthier lives.
The Hotel Vitale was most beautiful because of where it was located. The view from the Terrace Suite where Jodi Blasquez booked the fitting was amazing.
Hotel Vitale front desk
Directly across the street from Hotel Vitale is this charming building
Immediately to the left of the charming old building is a view of the gorgeous modern Bay Bridge. It has LED lights on it at night that shimmer.
View of Embarcadero from Hotel Vitale
How I got this picture without cars and a ton of people in it is a mystery.
Even the street view from our room was interesting and gave you a sense of the big city, but it was quiet inside this window!
Embarcadero & Fisherman’s Wharf
The Ferry Building is gorgeous from every angle.
The Plant Cafe Organic
Great food! And I loved the buffet (furniture, that is).
I want to build one like this
for an outdoor sink
and kitchen at my house.
Using the “I” pronoun loosely.
Don’t you love this buffet?

All “ducked” out!
Hey! It’s ME!!!
Giradella – did you know the reason chocolate making started in SFO was because of the fog which was perfect for chocolate. Who knew? Another reason to love SFO!
China Town on the tour
Our tour guide said that at the end of the day, any produce left is put into baskets and given to the poor in China Town. Such integrity for this community!
From the Bay
And then we took to the water!
Rusting is art
Early Saturday morning we walked to Brenda’s French Soul Food Cafe for breakfast. The 1.4 mile walk was uphill and downhill – mostly up!! But we loved walking through the neighborhood Seven Hills!
Chinese Community Church
I tutor Chinese students in English at my church. They are so gracious and brilliant!
Is there anything more beautiful than a sunrise – anywhere?
Walking and walking and walking…ah yes! The streets were deserted until we approached Brenda’s French Soul Food Cafe and there were about 20 people on the sidewalk. Guess what? They were all waiting. And it was worth the wait! We talked with a couple from New Zealand.

We had fun celebrating with the other contestants. Cheers! Cheers to water!
That’s all folks!!! We loved sharing about our trip to SFO and “our” photo shoot. But we would love even more to make a difference in someone else’s life in their quest for better health. As Kat says, “People don’t need a meal plan, they need a battle plan!”
Keep us posted how we can help you stay healthy! Join us in the fight. We don’t want you to miss out on life! Don’t miss out
