I get frustrated because I know I’m hard on cords. I’m always in a hurry to unplug my phone, always have things piled up and can’t get to the USB port easily. So… I have had another cord stop working that powers my phone. I’m not sure whether the saying, “Buy well or buy often” applies here. I read about cords causing fires, so am leary about buying the dirt cheap ones. I always look for the (Apple MFI Certified). That means that the product does meet certain specifications. If you buy a cord for $2, it is pretty much a guarantee that you are buying something that has been produced with low quality materials and production.
